Things I do when
nobody's paying me
Side projects, homelab experiments, tools built to learn something new and a girls' football club, which has taught me more about managing complex systems than most of my paid work.
Blackheath Wanderers Girls Football Club
Didn't plan this. My daughter wanted to play football, one thing led to another. Now Head of Girls' Football @Blackheath Wanderers. 100+ players, U9–U16. Plans to be the biggest girls grass roots football club in the area.

Zero-Trust Homelab & Self-Hosted Infrastructure
Proxmox handles the virtualisation, OPNsense handles the networking, and a Cloudflare Tunnel with Nginx sits in front of everything so nothing is exposed to the public web without going through something that actually checks first. The stack supports a secure OpenClaw environment, a Docker host, n8n for automation, Umami for analytics, and whatever else I'm currently trying to break. I already fund what feels like a small SaaS empire every month, so running my own infrastructure on hardware I own, with data that stays where I put it, is the one bill I can actually avoid.

Local AI Hub: It's my data not yours
Everything runs on a second-hand 64GB M1 Mac Studio sitting in my house. Ollama serves Gemma 4:31B natively. OpenClaw runs in OrbStack as the orchestrator, with my Obsidian vault in GDrive shared with OpenClaw as the knowledge base. Tailscale handles secure remote access. Telegram is the interface. No cloud. No token bills.
