If your company uses AWS, you already have an account, and Amazon Bedrock puts over a hundred AI models from different makers inside it, among them Anthropic’s Claude, Meta’s Llama, Mistral and OpenAI. You pick a model and pay for the text it reads and writes, and changing to another model can be one setting in your code. Amazon says what you send isn’t used for training and isn’t shared with the makers of the models.
The catch is that Amazon runs the models, not the makers, so some features arrive later or never. Claude’s web search tool, for one, isn’t available on Bedrock. So Bedrock is many AI models in one Amazon account, and it pays to check the features of your model before you commit.
Every claim was checked against AWS’s own documentation, FAQ, pricing and model pages, and Anthropic’s documentation on Claude through AWS, in October 2026. No product is recommended. This is an independent explainer, not affiliated with Amazon or any model maker.
